ARTIST TRACK | MUSICIAN TRACK | FILM TRACK
As we gather to kick off these creative tracks, you will be met with your chosen trackmates: the Artist Track, the Musician Track, and the Filmmaking Track.
Here, our instructors will start with THE BIG PICTURE, the fundamentals pertaining to the philosophy and practice of great artistry in the context of a Biblical worldview, and the foundational principles necessary to thrive in your craft, impact culture, and forge quickly ahead.
You subsequently will have opportunity to branch out into more focused breakout sessions of your choosing:
Ron DiCianni and his remarkable experience and talents lead the Artist Track. Ron will teach an oil painting workshop where participants will be strengthening the fundamentals of strong painting skills including design/composition, values, light source, technical elements of art, as well as color theory, culminating in the emphasis on the human form.
Excellent drawing skills, strong composition, value studies, and design are the foundations of all great art and paintings. Our instructors will walk students through a vital series of fun and valuable exercises to hone and perfect this foundation of every great work of art.
For the first day (Thurs. the 19th), all trackmates in the Musician Track will gather together for instruction on the fundamentals of music and its vital place and impact in culture. The team will discuss music in history, in the church, and in culture, which they can then use as they dive deeper into learning and sharpening their musical talents!
On the following days you will pick your breakout sessions from our daily offerings, which include Songwriting, Worship, Team Collaboration, Producing/Recording, Vocals, and Instrument Focus (guitar, strings, keyboard). Be sure to explore our Music Track page and meet our team members for all the possibilities.
