THE ART OF SONG MUSIC TRACK
The Unmitigated Place and Power of Singers, Song, and Instrumentation.
Specialized breakout sessions from which to choose offer enhanced areas of exploration and study.
There is a dynamic spiritual force in God's creation - the physics (think walls of Jericho), the emotion, the mystical transformative nature of music. In a practical way this two day workshop will inspire attendees while exploring the science, the psychology and spiritual force of music, sound, voice, mood and melody, embracing a fuller knowledge of one's own capacities as a singer with our vocal coaches or as an instrumentalist with our instructors. Enhancing and using these skills and gifts can bring spiritual transformation in oneself and those around you, broadening your capacities for impacting your spirit, your home, the church and culture.
We will examine the theology, musical structure and power of songs using examples from the Psalms and great worship songs of the last two centuries, then put these dynamics into practice by the expansion of singing or instrumentation skills and practiced skill sets through harmonies and melodies, corporate dynamic of song and instrumentation. If you love to sing and love to make music with your instrument individually and collectively - and enter those gifts into worship, this workshop is for you.
Speaker - Pat Daly - Enriching our understanding of the rich history of song, hymnology. the Great Christian Composers and why they stand the test of time.
Our team of professionals including international award winning Ukrainian pianist Iryna Kudielina and more will join input from other giants of theology and thought...Charles Spurgeon, John Piper, John Lennox, Allistair Begg, And insights from contemporary worship leaders like Keith and Kristyn Getty, Matt Boswell, or Forest Frank's with "In the Room".
Attendees will leave prepared with new learned skills to enter new personal and group music and worship settings with a portfolio of new skills in arranging, improvisation and collaboration with other singers and musicians.
Bring your voice, bring your instrument, bring your squad (family, friends, worship group). At registration attendees can indicate song choice and receive some pre-workshop preparatory exercises if desired.
2 Day Workshop includes lunch and dinners Friday and Saturday,
and all general Conferences all group worship sessions.

Instrumentation
These sessions introduce techniques and styles to enhance your repertoire, then brings our instruments together to play in one accord, reinforcing and merging harmonies and finessing our chording with sweet union and power. We'll be using as our template the best of the best of hymns and comtemporary worship as our templates.
Worship Paino/keyboard with Iryna Kudielina:
Tips, Techniques and Practices that enhance worship. Building improvisational skills on the piano. Piano accompanying the singing in worship has changed dramatically in recent decades. From pipe organs, parlor organs to simplistic 4-part musical notes from hymn books of the last century, current worship piano generally follows a chord-based model with chording patterns, fills, runs and styles. Study with master classical pianist Iryna Kudielina who has been playing in church in Ukraine since she was 10 and now plays in a contemporary worship setting.. Whether it's playing and perfecting chords and chording transitions, fills, mood, runs, this focus track workshop can expand your repertoire of keyboard skills.

Jim Abdo - Jim's rich experience with worship music, and bands will broaden your experience in how to play with a team/band of players, chording, runs, fills, transitions, mood and purposeful playing. Using the capo, how to pick the right keys for sing-ability, how to transpose keys,
Day Two with Rich Peterson- In these lessons Rich will cover basic chords used in most worship songs, lead guitar patterns and jazz chords. Please bring your own guitar, a notebook and pencil.
